Vanessa Saunders is the CEO and Broker of Global Property Systems Real Estate. Her extensive background of over 25 years in global marketing offers our clients a sound business model. Vanessa holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and another in International Mass Communications, with certificates from the Harvard School of Business in Conflict Resolution and Contract Negotiation. She holds the coveted CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist) designation and is a member of FIABCI (The International Federation of Real Estate Brokers.) Other real estate designations include Corporate Relocation Specialist, Luxury Property Specialist and Historic Homes Specialist.

A former fortune 500 corporate senior executive with companies that include British Airways The George P. Johnson Group, and The World Trade Center’s Association, Vanessa has lived on 4 continents. She was constantly relocated worldwide, and relied heavily on the expertise of the Realtors to help make educated real estate decisions. When her office at the World Trade Center was destroyed in 2001 her husband insisted that she change her career. For Vanessa it was an easy decision to enter the world of real estate. “After all I knew first-hand what a difference a good Realtor makes when buying or selling, and even more so when purchasing overseas,” said Saunders.

“After 10 years with large corporate agencies,” Saunders said, “ I learned that to stand out from the crowd it was necessary to go into business as a broker myself in order to provide the additional services and true global marketing it takes to ensure client satisfaction in the difficult market conditions.”

GPS real estate was born of the necessity to widen the buyer pool when the American market became so challenging and well qualified buyers became a scarcity. GPS real estate’s experienced relocation specialists work diligently with buyers to find the homes and locations that they desire. “Because we are used to assisting buyers from all over the world, our team is adept at matching the right homes to a buyer’s requirements.” Says Saunders. Preventing Foreclosures

In 2009 at a Star Power conference for the nation’s top Realtors, Saunders saw the need to become certified in handling short sales to prevent owners from going into foreclosure. She has held the CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert) designation since the spring of 2009, and has successfully saved over 20 families from the stress of foreclosure. “Most agents in this area shy away from short sales as they have become notoriously hard to negotiate. I have been fortunate in teaming up with the top NY real estate attorney Richard Rubin of Rubin & Licatesi P.C.” continues Saunders. Mr. Rubin heads up a negotiating team of experts adept in expediting the enormous amounts of paperwork necessary to complete the transaction in a timely manner.

The V Team is thrilled to announce that Eric T. Lebenson has joined the team representing clients in the Empire State MLS covering Westchester.

Eric is an Associate Broker and has been in the industry for over eight years. He provides a wealth of information in both residential and commercial real estate and services all areas in Westchester County.

Eric has been a top producer throughout his real estate career and prides himself on his keen attention to detail and personal customer care. He has also managed several of the area’s top offices, giving him added insight into the workings of the business. Eric was also named a FIVE STAR Real Estate Agent in Westchester Magazine in 2010 and 2011 and has won numerous awards at both the local and national level.

Eric is a graduate of Bucknell University. He is an expert in selling luxury homes, co-op’s and condos and just earned the prestigious Certified Distressed Property Expert designation to work with short sales. He is a member of the Empire Access Multiple Listing Service and has served on several committees for them. In January 2012, he will be their Area 3 Director.

Eric is actively involved in his town of Briarcliff and is a Paul Harris Fellow and past President of the Briarcliff Rotary Club. He is also a Board Member on the Pocantico Hills Schools Foundation and a Charter Member of the Briarcliff Manor Chamber of Commerce. He supports several national and local charities, especially The Tommy Fund. He currently resides with his wife, Dawn, and their two children, Julia, age 10 and Michael, age 4.

Albert is our New Jersey and Korean specialist. He is responsible for commercial and residential transactions in New Jersey and acts as translator for our Korean clients in New York. Albert hold a BSc in Political Science from the Konkuk University, Seoul. He has been licensed as a Realtor since 2001 working with Coldwell Banker and Top Realty of Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

His wife Won, owns the successful Manie-Pedie salon in Piermont and both are active in the growing Korean community in northern Bergen County NJ and southern Rockland County, NY. Albert is a former Vice President of the Korean American Association of Greater New York.
